When sound is offered in an intentional way, as a therapeutic application, a client is drawn into a state of harmony and health.
Sound Healing is frequency + intention.
In other words, it's like when you play your favourite song, and it lifts your mood.
A Sound Healing with the voice practitioner will make sounds with their voice, this is called toning. The sounds might be harmonious, or with other qualities 'discordant'. These sounds all help clear the energy field.
A Sound Bath is when a group of people lie or sit while sounds are played. The sounds will wash over you and help you relax. A Sound Bath would predominantly include instruments. A Voice Bath practitioner would primary use their voice, creating a unique experience.
A Sound Bath is a fancy term for a room full of sound; the sound will wash over you. Jennifer's main 'instrument' is her voice and so she hosts Voice Baths. She will 'tone' to create sounds that help you relax and shift your energy.
During or in the days after a treatment you might feel emotional. Allow yourself to move through this at your own pace. It's perfectly normal. You are welcome to ask for additional support at any time.
Not suitable for women in their first trimester.
Wear comfy clothes. Bring pillows (for your head & under your knees), a blanket, an eye mask, water, warm socks, note pad & pen - for any revelations!
You want to be able to relax on the floor for the whole experience.
Jennifer will invite you to relax on a treatment bed, she will offer relaxing sounds using her voice and instruments. Think of it like a guided meditation.
